Kevin James Calls for Assessor Noguez to Resign

LOS ANGELES, CA - Today Kevin James urges John Noguez to resign from the post of Assessor effective immediately. In May, Kevin James was the only Los Angeles Mayoral candidate to call for Assessor John Noguez to step aside during the District Attorney’s investigation. One of James’ main campaign issues has been the removal of corruption from local government. This latest Assessor scandal is a reminder that the next Mayor of Los Angeles must be vigilant in ending public corruption.

Kevin James stated, “Without question, John Noguez should resign immediately.”

“Until we end corruption, LA will not be able to get back on track. As a former federal prosecutor I am prepared to expose corruption and ensure that we end the culture of corruption,” concluded James.

All of James’ City Hall opponents not only endorsed John Noguez’s campaign for Assessor, they also received financial contributions from Noguez.
